A new resource was released this week from the Center for Good Food Purchasing, “ A Roadmap for the Post-Pandemic Food System We Need“. This report looks at the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic brought to light in our food systems and imagines what is possible for strengthening food system resiliency over the next 10 years.
Two funds that the Thornburg Foundation helped establish in 2020 in response to the global pandemic are highlighted in the report, including the Native American Relief Fund at the New Mexico Foundation and the NM COVID-19 Local Food Supply Chain Fund at the New Mexico Farmers’ Marketing Association (see Appendix– page 17).
