Grantees

Over the last 20 years, the Thornburg Foundation has made over $35m in grants to high-impact non-profit organizations.  For the first 15 years, the Foundation made grants to local non-profits such as domestic violence shelters, homeless shelter, environmental, policy, and groups serving children and youth. In 2014 the Foundation began strategic initiatives in Food and Agriculture, Early Childhood Education and Good Government Reform– and have made more than $5m in grants to each of these areas.
