Grantees
In the last 10 years, the Thornburg Foundation has made more than $42m in grants to outstanding nonprofits across New Mexico. In 2014, the Thornburg Foundation launched its three strategic initiatives: Good Government Reform, focused on advancing more ethical, transparent government; Early Childhood Education, which works to advance strategic investment and governance of early childhood care and education; and Food and Agriculture, which supports ranchers and farmers with practices that return health to our soil, our watersheds and our families. In 2021, the Thornburg Foundation is adding a new strategic initiative focused on advancing water policy reforms. Based on community engagement and research, these efforts will seek to transform water management in New Mexico.
